La Fille d’O makes lingerie which deftly marries the thoughtful with the provocative. Designer Murielle Scherre, who founded the line in 2003, cites as her inspiration “brain caused chemistry. Looking in the other direction. Standing still.” With its strategically-placed cutouts and innovative patterns, the collection, which builds upon itself each season, presents the body in often surprising ways. “Lingerie is far more than just a piece of fabric covering your most intimate parts. Showing off is easy.
